# Tiny Dragons

Tiny Dragons are the core progression system in Crystal Quest. An equipped Tiny Dragon unlocks more and larger rewards.

Tiny Dragon attributes impact the maximum amount of energy a player is able to store, as well as how quickly the energy itself refills.

Each player receives a Starter Dragon for free. This way, users can play Crystal Quest games without an upfront mandatory purchase. In order to send their EDC off the platform, users must acquire a *paid* Tiny Dragon. Once the user purchases a Tiny Dragon, they will be unable to use their Starter Dragon.
